Read the section on “Integrating Sources” from CEL Ch. 16 (467-477). As this section explains, good writers often incorporate direct quotations or summaries into their own writing in order to add insight and additional perspectives to their own. In this activity we will practice integrating sources in preparation for writing our Unit 3 draft.

We were here before borders and it’s why I work and live in the United States, under the Jay Treaty, which states any Native born in Canada can travel freely between the US and Canada.”
